St Peters Green in Bunbury has been transformed into a welcoming, nature-inspired playspace celebrating some of the unique wildlife of our South West region. The playground features a neutral and green colour palette that complements the surrounding landscape, creating a natural and inviting setting for imaginative and active play.

At the centre of the playspace is a multi-level multiplay unit offering a variety of climbing, sliding and exploration opportunities for children of different ages. Adding an unmistakably Australian touch, Kangaroo and Numbat springers give little adventurers the chance to get up close with two of our much-loved native animals.

Inclusive play has been thoughtfully incorporated with an accessible Wheelspin and an A-frame combination swing, providing opportunities for children of varying ages and abilities to play alongside friends and family. The playground is set within a limestone-edged mulch play area, complemented by sections of synthetic turf to provide accessible pathways and connections between key play elements.

The upgrade also extends beyond the playground, with a refreshed basketball area and new hoop encouraging older children and families to stay active and enjoy the space in different ways.

With a blend of nature-inspired play, active challenges, inclusive elements and opportunities for imaginative play, the upgraded St Peters Green playspace provides a vibrant community destination where children can explore, move, play and discover the wonders of our local bushland.
