Wishart Park

Wishart Park was a design and construct project that formed part of the Wanneroo Playground, Shade and Softfall Asset Renewal Program for 2019. The brief for this site outlined that the combination unit incorporated rope play with multiple play elements and accessibility options. This well-designed play space provides climbing, hanging, swinging and balancing play activities which are integral to long term physical and social development. The rope-based street Climber encourages older children to challenge themselves and enjoy a hangout session nestled amount the tree backdrop. The main play unit offers many play opportunities for children of all ages, with activities to encourage balance, coordination, judgement and upper body movement. The area offers a double swing with toddler and junior seat with a functional play hut fuel station. Little adventurers can use their imagination and socialise with other children when zipping around on their scooters and bikes.
