The City of Wanneroo, on behalf of their community, embraced the opportunity to try something different with this playspace, forming part of their 2019/20 play equipment renewal program. We designed an out-of-this-world OUTER SPACE themed play area. Our main design considerations involved taking into account the need for inclusive access to real play value, the needs of children within the early childhood phase of development and providing challenge for the older kids. The Diabolo Multiplay Unit provides great climbing challenge for the big kids, a ball maze play panel is also an all-inclusive play feature that engages children of all ages and abilities. The little astronauts can embark on an outer space journey as they climb aboard the rocket ship slide or zoom into outer space on the Suzie Saturn or Falling Star Springers. The Swing set caters for all ages with a standard seat and a supportive toddler seat for the little ones. Our themed abilities are endless!
