Rotary Park in Busselton has been transformed into an exciting, nature-inspired playspace packed with climbing, swinging, sliding, musical and interactive play opportunities for children of different ages and abilities.

The centrepiece of the new playspace is a giant Buglo Grasshopper Climber, offering an impressive range of climbing challenges with pommels, ropes and multiple access points. Children can choose their own level of challenge, from low-level climbing opportunities underneath the structure through to more adventurous routes across the top, finishing with a big slide for an exciting trip back to ground level.

For younger children, a smaller Playmaster multiplay unit provides a vibrant green play space with age-appropriate climbing and interactive activities, including a Frog Tile Slide Puzzle panel. An A-frame combination swing sits within the same mulched play pit and includes an all-abilities swing seat, creating an inclusive swinging experience for children of varying abilities.

A wheelchair-accessible inclusive carousel provides another opportunity for children to enjoy the play experience together. Located adjacent to the swing, the carousel is set within PlayMatta safety surfacing, providing a smooth and accessible connection for wheelchair users to easily enter and enjoy the carousel.

Adding another layer of sensory exploration, a set of Musical Harmony Bell Chimes invites children to experiment with sound, rhythm and music. Nearby, a freestanding interactive panel featuring a frog-themed Tic Tac Toe game provides another opportunity for social and imaginative play.

Set within a natural mulched playspace, Rotary Park now offers a diverse mix of active, sensory, musical and inclusive play experiences, with thoughtful accessibility features ensuring children of different ages and abilities can explore, challenge themselves and enjoy the space together.
