Location:

South West

Site address:

Cobblestone Dr, Bunbury

Queens Gardens Playspace was inspired by the natural habitats surrounding this beautiful location. From the Mangroves and waving shoreline grasses to the open waters, home to Bunbury’s precious dolphins. Children can immerse themselves in an aquatic-themed playspace that encourages imaginative and social play suitable for all ages and abilities.

The Kanope Challenge Trail caters for children wishing to climb to new heights and replicates the mangroves and shoreline grasses. The boats encourage children to jump aboard with friends and cruise along the open waters as dolphins play alongside them. Sensory elements such as the sand pulley and chute attached to the main deck of the Big Boat and the freestanding sand sieve and stencils provide children with tactile play experiences.

Inclusive and universally accessible equipment such as the Rainbow Harp, Carousel Spinner, Elf Hut with game panels and Pod Swing encourages children of all ages and abilities to interact in a safe and stimulating play environment.

Parents of young children can relax as the under 3’s play on equipment that is developmentally appropriate to their needs. A junior slide with an enclosed stair access and the Elf Hut with interactive panels, tunnel and shop counter will keep children under the age of 3 inspired and playing independently, as well as encourage social interaction with other children and adults.

The City of Bunbury region is known as the Aquatic Playground, now there is a new Aquatic Playground for children to discover. Check out Queen Gardens today.
